This year Rishi Sidhi has taken a significant step forward by establishing a new wing
focused on integrating traditional wisdom with scientific knowledge to achieve the
United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
River Cleanup and Restoration
Rivers are the lifelines of human civilization. Our objective is to restore
rivers by eliminating plastic and other pollutants, ensuring a healthy and
sustainable ecosystem for future generations.
Biodiversity & Resource Monitoring
We actively monitor marine flora and fauna while focusing on the conservation
of IUCN red-listed species through scientific documentation and field research.
Coastal & Beach Cleanup
Coastal pollution threatens marine life. Our initiatives aim to make beaches
plastic-free while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for local
communities.
Disaster Risk Management
Identification of hazard-prone zones, community training, rehabilitation
planning, and escape-route mapping are conducted to reduce disaster risks and
improve resilience.
Community Livelihood & Inclusion
We document traditional knowledge and integrate it with modern technology to
create sustainable livelihoods and share insights with communities and
policymakers.
GIS & Remote Sensing
GIS and Remote Sensing form the backbone of our initiatives. All activities are
scientifically archived, spatially analyzed, and used to support other
verticals.
Capacity Building Programmes
Regular training programs are conducted in GIS, biodiversity mapping, disaster
assessment, environmental impact studies, bird watching, and nature photography
by internationally reputed experts.
